As it stands today, Colvmns by the Sea has been transformed into a world-class property at a restoration cost of several million dollars. All the integrity of the original structure was left intact while 21st century engineering was added. The magnificent original 3-story staircase, 12-ft ceilings, pocket doors, and fireplaces were incorporated into the planned restoration. At over 10,000 sq. ft of space in the main building, the architect designed 5 spacious condominiums, retaining the original ceiling heights while adding period crown moldings, wood doors with glass transoms, premium American red-oak flooring and dramatic open hallways.

The bathroom design was inspired by world famous European spas with extensive use of Turkish travertine on the walls and bathing areas highlighting the "Memoirs Kohler Collection" of fixtures. All bathtubs are whirlpool and shower areas have multiple spa fixtures.

The second floor library, adjacent to the spacious 2nd floor galley and staircase is available for quiet reading or friends gathering. The spacious Turkish travertine tiled front porch, surrounded by Doric Columns, captures the cool cross breezes and sweeping views of the Atlantic while defining the style that is the Colvmns.
